When you want to make money with AdSense, even if you are a newbie at the program, you will be surprised and excited to learn about the adsense secret that can be used to make money on the internet using AdSense. Google instituted the ad revenue sharing program in 2003 and many web site owners have taken advantage of the simplicity of the program in order to generate passive income for their web sites. A simple bit of code is placed on the web site that generates links to other sites where a product or service is marketed. When the link is clicked, the web site owner receives a payment from the advertiser.

Follow the rules

To make money with AdSense, you must be certain that you read and understand the policies and rules as set up by Google and described in the agreement that you signed when you registered your AdSense account. The policies limit the type of sites where you can place AdSense ads, for instance. You must focus your web site on the keyword rich content, rather than on the ads themselves. That is what Google wants to see in the AdSense web sites. It is up to the web site owner to apply the rules correctly.

How it Works

Once you have set up your Google AdSense account, you can add the code to any blog, web site or forum that you run. The account is tied to the web site owner so that you don't need to reapply when you open another site. Just be certain that each of your sites complies with the AdSense policies. To make money with AdSense, you should concentrate on improving the content of your own web site so that more people are drawn to your site and appreciate the information and content that they find there.

Customize the Ads

Your next step to make money with AdSense is to decide on the style and format of the ads that are placed. Many marketing studies show that the size, placement, color and general theme of the ads can make a great deal of difference when you are preparing your ads. Use any or all of the recommendations that can be found in the quality tutorials that are available on the subject of AdSense. You can use Google Adsense ads in conjunction with affiliate ads to add relevant content and a more organic feel to your web pages.

AdSense with Blogs

You can make money with AdSense very effectively by using blogs. Since people expect to find a wide variety of relevant information about the product niche when they go to a blog, they also are more likely to click on one or more of the AdSense ads found on the blogs. There is even software to help web site owners place AdSense ads directly into their blogs. Because the AdSense ads are fully customizable they are more likely to blend with the theme and appearance of the web site or blog.

As I am sure you already know blogging is huge right now. If you don’t know what blogging is then you have obviously not spent a lot of time online in the past few years. Blogging is one of the most popular ways of sharing information online and building websites for just about any topic. Where people used to build simple websites, they are now starting blogs. They are also a great way to start an online home business. People have blogs for pretty much every subject under the sun. There are blogs about entertainment, science, politics, parenting, sports, animals, and lots of blogs about how to make money online!

One of the big reasons for starting blogs is their ease of use and the fact that they can be a great way to make money online if you are willing to devote the time and energy required to keep the blog going. There is more to blogging than simply putting up some basic information or a picture and then throwing up some Adsense code around it.

There are plenty of ways you can use blogging to make money online and here are some of the most popular:

Paid Advertising

There are plenty of advertising programs on the internet that are blog-friendly and depending on the popularity of your blog, you can generate anywhere from a few dollars every month to a few thousand dollars a day! Adsense is a very popular way to make money from putting advertising on a blog.

However, if Adsense isn’t your thing there are plenty of alternatives. There are quite a few good revenue share advertising programs that will sell ads for you and give a percentage of the profits. You could also look into selling advertising independently. If you have some marketing and networking experience and know how to edit your templates then selling advertising yourself is a great way to make money online and you get to keep 100% of the profits!

Affiliate Marketing

A blog is a great way to showcase affiliate links, particularly if your blog is about a specific niche. In fact, if you are a “niche blogger” affiliate links can generate more income for you than you can make with advertising. There are tons of affiliate programs out there. Just be careful not to overload your blog with affiliate links. A blog with more affiliate links than useful and original content is a total turn off and will not make you nearly as much money!

Media

For most bloggers this will never happened but there are some bloggers who make such a big name for themselves that they become a famous in the media. It takes a long time to get to this point (if you can ever do it at all), but it’s possible. For example; look at someone like Perez Hilton. He has managed to make a name for himself outside of the blogosphere and is now rich and famous due to his blogging efforts. In order to achieve this though you have to be very patient, very dedicated to your blog and stand out from every other blogger competing with you.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways that you can use blogging to build an online income or even propel yourself to celebrity status. Above I have listed just a few ways that you could use blogging make money online. This is not an all-inclusive list by any means, there are many more ways to make money with a blog so get out there and start blogging your little heart out!.

Why Blog?

Posted In: . By dens

Author: Elizabeth Albekeit

First off if you’re not exactly sure what a Blog is either because you have been avoiding the craze or are just not a computer junkie a Blog is the amalgamation of two words web and log a web log or Blog for short. Essentially it is an online journal of sorts, you will find a Blog on nearly every subject you can think of. But why is it relevant to your website?

People love Blog and search engines love them too. Why do SE’s (search engines) love them you ask? It’s simple the Blog is frequently updated so their content is fresh on a regular basis. Sites with Blog rank higher then ones without. A Blog is an indication to the SE that the site will be updated frequently. This fresh content in the Blog will attract the search engine’s spiders to index it more frequently. Thus, they rank the website higher due to the regular updates.

What is the draw to the public about Blog? People love stories and Blog are stories about their favourite subjects. Blog gives people a different perspective your personal perspective on the topic. Another reason people love Blogs are that they are interactive (usually). Often along with a Blog is an area where its visitors can leave a comment on the content of the particular post that they are reading.

The added bonus to you as the writer is that you get insight on what your visitors are interested in learning more about. Posts that receive a lot of interest from your guests can be an indication of what kinds of products and services your customers are in need of. You can then add them to your sales items if there is something you can get for them or create the products they are really wanting. Another thing is you can write more articles on their interest providing your readers with more content that they desire. Since your Blog can have an RSS feed, they will know when you have added new content and in that content you can direct them to the products and information they are looking for.

Pay attention to your Blog, update it frequently and visit other Blog sites with the same or similar theme to see what people are commenting on in those postings. This research on other web logs will help you improve your site and better targets your audience.

The one thing that really stands out to me about web logs above other types of content is that they are personal perspectives of their writers. You can learn a lot about a web site’s owner by reading what they post. You can develop a better relationship with your readers because the content is much more personal and created out of your head rather then on straight research. This personal perspective is what sells the Blog people are looking for advice and things they can relate too.

Visit some Blog look to see if they interest you. Leave a comment and be nice when you do it reflects on you if you are negative. Then get out there and share your own personal perspective on your favourite topics.

How long should your blog post be?

Ever since I started blogging a few years ago, that is one of the questions new bloggers have asked. The blog Guru's will tell you that blog post need to be short. The theory is that if you make longer post, the reader will get bored and leave your site.

I naturally write long articles so it was hard for me to follow the 250 to 500 word blog post unspoken rule.

If you're only interested in attracting Social traffic, stick to making those short, concise post. Most Social readers have shorter attention spans than a 3 year old, especially if they come from Digg.

If on the other hand, you want your post to rank high in Google SERPS and bring in loads of targeted organic search traffic, you're more likely to do it with longer keyword optimized post than shorter ones.

You'll also naturally have more long tail keywords in your long blog post. Long tail keywords bring in more targeted organic traffic to your site.

If you run a content rich site with Adsense, you can increase your CTR with longer post and articles. Why? Because you'll stand a better chance of the reader losing interest and clicking on an Adsense ad. Yeah, I know, it's a pretty underhanded Adsense trick hunh? But it works.

You should also be aware that you'll probably lose a few RSS subscribers who do not like long post, but you'll also gain a few more who feel long post are more informative and detailed. They'll see you as a detailed authority on the subject.

If you're worried about losing your RSS subscribers to long post, here are a few tips that will help you keep them interested and to optimize your long post.

Use the H3 tag to break up your long post into sections. Properly constructed H3 headings also add SEO benefits to your long post.

Use bullets and numbers to break up list or for making points.

Use blockquotes when quoting others or for highlighting a resource.

Use Bold, Italics and Colored Text to get your point across and to break up your long post.

Not all of your long post have to be a War and Peace novels. Just the really important post you want to expand on and the ones you want top rankings for.

Don't worry about mixing long and short blog post. I've done it on my blog for nearly 2 years now and I reaping the benefits of knowing that longer blog post equal higher rankings.

There are many effective little techniques that encourage forum posting. One of the tricks that helps to encourage forum conversation is to end some of your posts with leading questions. "What do you think?" "How do you do it?" "Does anyone know how to ____?" Questions give an easy opening for the next person to post, just as they help foster conversation in real life.

If you start a new thread, it often is more successful if your first post is short and asks a question, as opposed to being several paragraphs in length that cover a topic more thoroughly. This is kind of surprising because you might have thought a longer post would be more intriguing, but try it and see! You'll notice a difference. So, even if you've thought about a topic a lot, try not to say much in the first post. This lets other people be "experts" too and they will enjoy the conversation.

In writing classes they often teach you to write strong. Strong writing is well thought out, authoritative, doesn't use the word, "I," has good grammar, spelling, and punctuation. But on a forum, it can intimidate others so that they won't post. If instead you say, "I think," "Gosh, how do you spell that?" include personal stuff, and so forth, it makes the writing less formal and more like you're sitting across the cafe table from an old friend! This makes others comfortable so they are more likely to open up.

Compliments about what someone posted before you also helps any of the readers to be comfortable posting because they interpret it as a friendly, gentle place. Whether face to face or online, other people will like it when they receive positive comments or are asked questions. It simply makes people feel like they are being listened to, and we all like that!

Timing is also important in encouraging good conversation on a forum. It's better to post two or three responses at a time every three or four hours, than to sit down for evening to post because it keeps the forum fresh and people get the feeling someone is always there for them to talk to. If they check in an hour or two after they posted and they see responses, well of course they'll be more likely to get involved in the forum than if they have to wait a day for a response.

Many a blogger today are smiling to the bank because of the way the trade in blogging has gone, it is one of the cheapest things to set up on the internet and for those who know they will readily move up on it and cash in on the cash cow called blog.

Now how do you monetize your blog for dollars?

Many Weblogs today are running head to head with themselves and looking for that tiny little space to place what today has become the bed rock of blogging adverts. With adverts lining your blog you find people wanting to click away on your blog, the kind of adverts that appear on your blog page, attracts the kind of money you hope to make from your blog, adverts that carry big time company logo’s like coca cola etc are been rushed by people and to think that the spaces are small, then imagine the competition involved for such little spaces.

Also you can monetize your blog when you get little or no competition from your area of specialization, everyone in that niche market see you as the guru and then the big guns come calling ,what do you do than to sell off your blog and build another one that will replace the one you just off loaded. Many lazy internet watchers are on the lookout for such blogs where the owners are offered large sums of money to sell off there blogs So if you have a niche area that you are very good at why not make a show of it by looking for traffic to visit your site the more traffic that your blog gets the higher your chances of reaping it off.

Blog content needs to be of quality and should be written mainly for the readers. It does not matter if your blog is of a casual personal nature or is built for business or corporate intentions. The fact remains that you need to write real good content that will leave readers hunger for more.

If your blog is built for business, it is wise to do a little homework on researching what makes good content for business blogs. Find out how you can go about writing that good content to win readers over to your blog permanently. The reasons are obvious. Your blog will increase in visibility, and your business will grow gradually.

Content will be considered good quality if it follows these guidelines:

(1) It presents a mixture of valuable information

Readers go to your blog searching for information, and they hope to find it right there at your blog - the relevant information that they are looking for. It would be a waste of time for readers to search for desired information elsewhere. That is to say, it would be good if you can provide them all the necessary information that they need in one place. Chances of them bookmarking your blog and returning to it again and again are very high.

(2) It can be easily accessed by readers

Information that can be easily obtained by readers has the high possibility of increasing the popularity of your blog. If various kinds of news and information can be collected from different sites on a daily basis, and can be all posted in one easily accessible location for instance on your blog, this converts your blog to be the favorite source of information. RSS can be used for the purpose of generating such content automatically.

(3) Blog content must always be credible

Information within the content in your blog should always be information that is really valuable. This will together with informed commentary helps to build your credibility as an author of the content. Credibility can only be achieved by showing readers that you are an expert in your field of work. You must write with authority and with your personalized style that will build rapport with your readers, who will then leave comments as well as ask you questions should they have queries.

(4) Content must be able to gain trust

To gain the trust of your readers, you will have to work hard by producing good content. Good content for business blogs generally requires you to write quality content that will cater to the needs of the readers as well as to project a favorable image of yourself as a knowledgeable writer for your blog content. Once the trust is gained, you have won half the battle.

(5) The content should not appear to be sales-like

Content must be valuable and appropriate to what's being searched for by readers. Still it is vital to remember that should you intend to include any marketing messages within the body of your blog content, this message should be subtle and not disguised. Do not try to deceive readers. Try to make your blog informal and candid, and definitely not pitchy to the extent of plugging your product across. Your readers will have no choice but to leave your blog feeling annoyed.

(6) Content may include specific marketing information

Good content for business blogs includes specific marketing information that you can offer on your blog. Such marketing information may include a preview or talk about your latest products and offers, promotion on a special contest or offer, posting of links to favorable reviews about your products, information telling readers of the changes to your website which you feel they should check out, and posting of latest news about your latest product(s) you are working on and requesting them for their feedback.

In conclusion, content must be well written and of quality, providing readers with the most valuable information that will satisfy their immediate needs. That said, as what good content for business blogs normally requires, some research on your part for quality content goes a long way in bringing respect and value to your business blog. So, opt for the best in content, because content is king!.

Writing is a career where one can become an overnight success or keep struggling for years without making any money and possibly end up changing to another career. There are problems trying to find an publisher to accept and publish your book or novel or a magazine editor to print your article or column. Hopefully this situation may not arrise often in this day and time, thanks to the internet.

Years ago, people in the writing profession had to depend on others to earn; today’s writers may now produce an income from their writing by switching their passion to write into a business. Difficult as it might sound, this effort may indeed constitute an easy-to-achieve possibility with the use of the internet and blogs. Amazing, as it might appear, you will be able to make money with a blog by just whipping up your hidden writing talent.

If you are new to the internet and don't know what a blog is, or you've been working on or surfing the internet for years, making money with a blog is a possibility that you'll be able to accomplish with a little planning. Here are a few tips that should be able to help you:

1. Earn working with Google - What once constituted merely a search engine Google now comprises one of the the worlds most powerful enterprises, not only in terms of its reach, but also in terms of its income generating possibilities. You will be able to earn from Google by utilizing their free service called AdSense. All that's required of you is to have a blog and sell space on your page for advertisements to be posted by AdSense. The service would then permit you to show ad units – ad boxes – that would show ads associated with the subjects you write on in your blog.

For example, you wrote about the piano you just brought, then the ad unit probably would show ads about pianos. When your visitors click on any of these ads, you'd get paid a certain amount. Once your income reaches one hundred dollars, You would then receive a check.

2. Advertise additional Profitable Web Sites- numerous online businesses offer affiliate programs. These programs work by you having their advertisements placed on your blog. When a visitor clicks the ad and makes a purchase from that company the ad represents, you would earn a commission or a referral fee. Many gurus in internet marketing run such programs including large corporations like Amazon.com, eBay and many others. The income you are able to earn varies depending on each company’s payment policies.

3. Sell Ads – The downside of Google advertisements and affiliate programs is you don't actually have much control over your income and the ads that are showed on your blog. If you would like to play more seriously in the ad marketing game, then you could apply BlogAds’ free databases where you will be able to set your own price for advertisers to place ads on your blog. Several companies search for blogs that match their products and services and rent ad space the same as they do when using those traditional billboards you see along the freeways. Your ad space could then be leased for a certain time period. You would have to pay twenty percent of your income to BlogAd.

4. Donations - several blogs have donation buttons on them. And admittedly, numerous enthusiastic fans and visitors might be willing to make a contribution as a sign of appreciation for your well-written, compelling, and informative blog. Donation buttons are available from PayPal, the renowned online internet service, who would receive a fee for this service when people decide to make a donation. Like options are extended by Amazon and BitPass.

5. Open an Online shopping mall – if your blog becomes so popular that thousands of visitors from all over the world visit it daily. Then you might benefit from that traffic by marketing gifts and souvenirs. And the good news is you would not have to place your logo on those gifts, T-shirts or baseball caps. CafePress would do it for you. CafePress extends to sell for you anything from those precious buttons to defying outerware. The asking price is up to you; you only have to pay the base price of the merchandise.

Making money with a blog is not as difficult as it appears. But naturally like any adventure to make money, you have be be good at doing your job. Keep learning and never give up and You will have the potential to make big earnings utilizing your blog .

There Is More Than One Internet Marketing Secret

Nearly every new online business that opens their virtual doors is looking for the one internet marketing secret that will vault them to the top of the charts. While they spend a lot of time and in many cases a lot of money in search of the secret ingredient, the reality of online business is that there is no one internet marketing secret that will lead the business to success. There are a combination of factors that work together to help put a businesses name in front of internet users and, provided they have a needed service or product, they can grow their business and enjoy success.

First, consider from where the business is attempting to draw its customers. This is typically done by reviewing the type of product or service being offered and then deciding whether the internet marketing secret includes a shotgun approach or if a more focused audience will offer a better return on the advertising investment. If the site offers something for nearly everyone in every age group and covers a wide range of demographics, then the shotgun approach, that is placing advertising on all types of popular websites, will probably draw in some business.

On the other hand, if the online business offers products geared toward a specific demographic then their efforts should be focused on sites that appeal to that demographic. Part of the internet marketing secret to draw in new visitors as well as insure repeat business is to keep the message simple. Explain what they offer, how it can benefit the readers of their ads and how it differs from other similar products as well as how the price represents a value to the potential customers.

Making Website Friendly For Visiting Spiders

There are internet marketing secret strategies that encompass a range of efforts that the business can use to be found on the internet. Face it, with thousands of internet businesses offering similar products and online users typing in keywords to find what they are looking for on the internet, the website has to be recognized as a leader by search engine spiders to be included in search results.

One of the biggest failures of online businesses is the lack of consistency. Many businesses use search engine marketing, article marketing as well as advertising and affiliate marketing but rarely a combination of them all. The prominent internet marketing secret should include a mix of all marketing efforts and on a continuing basis. When a business slows down on one type of effort, another business offering a more consistent message, will usually be in a position to step in and take over.

Thousands of people are looking for ways to make money online and although it sometimes sounds too good to be true it can actually be done. One of the most simple ways to make money online is by blogging and there are many people that are making a great income doing so.

You can blog about absolutely anything ranging from writing your own daily journals to writing about crafts, animals, cars or about blogging itself. There really is no limit to the topics that you can blog about. The income that bloggers make comes from the advertising that they place on the blog but it is not quite as easy as just writing blog posts and placing ads all over your blog. You do need to be strategic with the placement of your advertisements as you don’t want your blog to look like one big advertising blog.

Too much blatant advertising will make your blog cheap and nasty and not at all professional looking. You want your advertising to be subtle and to blend with the site and with the topic of the site. So don’t go advertising scrapbooking products if your site is about skateboards.

It is a good idea to get your blog up and running before even placing any advertising on it at all. Build up your reputation in your niche and establish some regular readers and then when you do recommend a product or two they are likely to trust your recommendations.

It is recommended to add an optin box to your blog so that you can build a subscriber list which is a great way to build a personal and trusting relationship with your readers. Once again though, when you send emails to your subscribers don’t just send lots of emails trying to sell things. Send your subscribers emails with good quality content that they will enjoy reading and occasionally recommend a product to them through the emails.

Building a relationship with your readers and gaining their trust can take your blogging business to a whole new level. You will increase your sales by a large amount by building a list and building that relationship. Once you have customers that trust you then they will come back and possibly be repeat buyers for the products that you recommend.

It is also important when you do recommend products to your readers that you only recommend good value products. Look at it as if you were in their shoes as I’m sure you would hate to have someone recommending a product to you only for you to find out that it isn’t worth the money you spend on it. To keep your subscribers trust so that they will be return buyers then it is important to only recommend good value products.

To sum it up, keep you blog interesting, tidy and of good value and you should become quite successful at making money by blogging. Remember to build a list and build a relationship with your subscribers and your sales will go through the roof.

Ads can be annoying if its cluttered over the page but it can complement your content if done a proper way. Within your web pages, your content should be emphasized and not these ads.

Maximize and Monetize

The key to maximizing your potentials in blogging and earning at the same time can be done through encouraging and keeping your visitors. You could have created a good blog entry with different ads properly placed but if no one get to see it, then its worthless.

“In order correctly to define art, it is necessary, first of all, to cease to consider it as a means to pleasure and to consider it as one of the conditions of human life. Viewing it in this way we cannot fail to observe that art is one of the means of intercourse between man and man.” – Leo Tolstoy.
What is art? Art cannot be described as a process which produces beauty as beauty itself cannot be defined objectively. You can only guess what the aim of art is. According to Tolstoy, the aim of art is to provide pleasure, enjoyment, entertainment as well as creating a relationship between the author and the “receiver”. So is blogging – art?

History of Blogs

Blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a “server’s log file.” It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information.
Origin of the term “weblog” is uncertain. Many point to John Barger in December 1997 when he coined the term on his own blog. 2 years later, Peter Merholz broke “weblog” into a phrase “we blog”, thus giving birth to the word “blog”. Fortuitously, this play on words eventually took off, and “blog” as a short form not only became a household noun, but also as a verb. With the growth of popularity of weblogs, grew the popularity of the word “blog”. Indeed, in March 2003, the Oxford English Dictionary included the terms "weblog," "weblogging" and “weblogger” in its dictionary. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary astonishingly declared “blog” as the word of the year in 2004. (Wikinews,2005)
Starting from the mid-1990 the number of blogs at an incredible pace, at the end of 1999, the total number of blogs was estimated to be around fifty; five years later, the estimates range from 2.4 million to 4.1 million. The site Open Diary, while not using the term blog only until recently, had only two thousand diaries by 1999; by, September 2005, it exploded to 400, 000. The Perseus Development Corporation, a consulting firm that studies internet trends, estimates that by 2007 more than 10 million blogs will have been created. (Drezner and Farrell, “Web of Influence.” 2004).

Blogs as a way of expressing yourself

People who are into blogging carefully choose their words to describe their feelings, emotions and experiences. Leo Tolstoy says in his essay “What is art?”: “Art is a human activity consisting in this, that one man consciously, by means of certain external signs, hands on to others feelings he has lived through, and that other people are infected by these feelings and also experience them.”
In a way, bloggers are artists. They create a relationship with their readers, as professional writers and painters do. Blog is own space, their canvas, their book, where they can share their thoughts, feeling, ideas with others, where they can give and receive information.
As with art, you can write anything you want in a blog, but there are thing needed to be taken into account:
• You should make your blog interesting, informative so that it gives rise to readers’ thoughts and feelings.
• Create something beneficial for the readers. Give your blogs some quality content.
• “Simplicity is the final achievement. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art.” Frederic Chopin. Avoid being complicated in your blog. The more complicated the blog is – the less it is art.

Blogs as Modern Art

So what is a blog? Is blogging art? Blog is persons own space in the Internet, his orchestra where he conducts his symphonies, his paper where he writes his essays, his canvas where he paints his masterpieces, in a word – his space where he creates. What is the purpose of the Artist? To create, to communicate the concepts of morality.
Unfortunately not every blog can be categorized as art. Blogs must be comprehensible and understandable. If any unintelligible blog or as any incomprehensible expression of though is to be called “art”, then the meaning of “art” will be lost. Blogs must have the form and content which is are unity with the feeling and ideas which they represents. Blogs that shallow, unsophisticated, awkward, artificial, exaggerated, ostentatious, or banal are not art.
Tolstoy suggests that professionalism kills art; it causes the art to become false and insincere. As long as blogs are kept original, personal and sincere they can be described as art, modern art.
“Generally art is a (product of) human activity, made with the intention of stimulating the human senses as well as the human mind; by transmitting emotions and/or ideas”(Wikipedia, 2008). Blog is a great way to implement this activity online.
All in all, blogs are modern art, as long as you keep them personal, original, honest and smart. Blogs are your web space and you have all the tools and ideas to create your own masterpiece!

There are many methods used today to increase traffic to your Website or Blog. As an Author of a Website, I am constantly trying to get a larger number of viewers to my Site. The sucess of any Website or Blog is directly related to the amount of quality traffic that crosses it's doorstep. The sales of products depends on a large number of visiters, and what good is a Site that offers opinions on anything, if their is no one to read them!

I have used several methods in my pursuit of Traffic, the most effective being Article Writing. Why-Because articles are Quick and Easy Traffic to your Website or Blog!! If well-written, and on a topic people will be searching for, an Article can draw an amazing amount of traffic.

First, you should determine what interest's you, and what you wish to write about. What knowledge do you have that will help the reader, and on a subject that They, the readers will be interested in? Are you willing to research a subject, you are not that familiar with? Remember, the content of your article will determine the sucess of your article. A simple search of keywords on any search engine will inform you of the "HOT" search terms.

Write Your article, give accurate information to your reader, and it will have the potential to increase the traffic to your Website or Blog. Remember, the reader found you, by searching a topic of interest to him. Now your article has to gain his trust that you know what you are talking about, and send the reader to the Author Bio. The Author Bio is where you will mention a little about yourself and suggest to the reader that they visit your Website.

I have found that even if I get a small percentage of my readers to move on to my Site after reading my article, they are interest traffic, not passers-by, or they wouldn't bother clicking my Link or reading my Bio.

So, if you are looking for a Free method of increasing your Targeted traffic, a quick and easy method--Submit Articles to the numerous Article Directories avaliable, give it some time, but you will see results.

Perhaps one of the most effective tools to grow your business is to create a blog for corporate blogging. You want more exposure, look for free to cheap advertising, need to direct taffic to your main site, and want to have genuine interaction with your customer base, don't you?

A corporate blog can do all of that for you, if you do it right. You can also spin your wheels and experience a big puff of disappointment, if you just go by the seat of your pants. So, the problem is: you want a corporate blog, but just don't know how to go about it. You also don't want to spend extra time or money in the process.

Corporate blogging can be fun
Unlike a regular, static web site, a blog is informal, intuitive, short by nature, and even humorous. There is more than enough stuffy, boring monologue already in all the technologically oriented websites. You can reach your business goals by using a blog, and enjoy it at the same time.

Corporate blogging is worth it
A huge advantage of blogging is that you can interact with your customers in an informal manner. People tend to be more open and forthright if they are writing in a blog, and you can learn an enormous amount from them. You can find out what their concerns are, what frustrates them, what they need and so on.
By checking your statistics in the blog Cpanel, you can learn how they found out about you, which keywords they used to search for you, how long they visited, which pages they visited, and more. This is enormously helpful because it is much closer to real time than with a regular static web site. You can learn the same things on a regular site as well, but it is not nearly so revealing as with a blog.

Corporate blogging also enables you to build your brand in the marketplace. By making use of frequent, interesting, relevant and attention grabbing posts, your brand name will soon be all over the internet. The search engines, such as Google seem to favor blogs because pages from a blog are indexed and spidered much more quickly. They also can receive a very high ranking when people are searching for information.

For example, suppose your company focuses on hedge trimmers. If you know the right strategies, you will soon find yourself in the enviable position of number one or two in the search engine results. What this means is that when somebody types in something about hedge trimmers, your blog post will be one of the first choices presented in the results page. Everybody wants to be in that spot, and you just did it without much extra effort at all! But, you need to know how!

How do I start blogging?
So, you keep hearing about how I need to create a blog, I need to get into corporate blogging, and you want to find out how to start blogging in the best possible manner.

There are many great platforms in the marketplace that can provide services to get you going. Some are free, some are very expensive and some are in-between. You should most definitely avoid a completely free service for a variety of good reasons. One very good reason is that all the hard work you put into gaining all the high search engine results will not actually belong to you; it belongs to the hosting company. There are other reasons as well, but you get what you pay for, mostly.

Check out blogs that you like and find out how they do it. Here is my blog, it is a sort of hybrid between a personal blog and a business blog. For me, it serves both purposes quite well. I is called Family Stress and Health, and check it out: it is number one in Google's search result for those four words, which are known as a long-tail keyword. In fact it has the number one and number two positions!

Do this first
Look around, check out my blog, check out other blogs you like, but make sure you visit this little page I made to direct you to the best of the best. I is called, How do I start blogging? These people are driven business coaches who are in touch with everything that can make your business take off. They are experts at media marketing and know all about the stuff that works in this new media marketplace.

Blogs are becoming very popular. The rate at which the numbers are increasing is mind-boggling. Why is this happening? Why every body wants to create a blog? Who else will read that blog? If everyone is busy writing his/her blog why and when will they get time to search for other blogs and read them? Because of this over population and density, will blogging become another failure? Is it a fad, which will pass away? Let us examine?

Why do people blog? Most of the people write blogs to express themselves. They are sure that on their blog they will get what they want printed. If they write articles or columns for newspapers they may or may not get printed. Writing a blog gives the power to each of us to get printed immediately. I personally write my blog to express myself freely and feel good to see that what I wrote got printed immediately.

Another reason of writing in a blog and website is freedom of design, layout and structure. Blogging gives this freedom. It does not need navigation architecture designs of a website nor a structured menu. You write and get printed - as simple as that. This has a flip side also. In a website one can lay out the information in an easy to access and read format. You can lead your reader to a particular page in a website. You cannot do that on your blog.

Do blogs get read? How does one popularize one's blog? These are difficult questions to answer. For most of us, it is difficult to find time and submit our blog in the increasing number of directories. It is also difficult to make sure that our blog will get one of top rankings in a search. Only the search engines know the secret of that and others only speculate. If we try to read the articles written on this subject, not only the quantity but the difference of opinions will leave most of us tired, frustrated and undecided. One more issue- before you decide that you would want to popularize your blog, please think - whether you search for blogs and read them? A lot many of us are so busy writing our own blogs, that we find no time looking for others. Why should this not apply to our potential readers?

Whatever the pros and cons of blogging, one outcome is certain. Blogs give us the opportunity of writing what we want and get it printed.

Blogging advice tailored for newcomers can be hard to find. With new terms and tools appearing daily, it can be confusing for new bloggers to know where to start. To learn the basics of blogging such as how to set up a blog and make money from it, keep reading; it's easier than you think.

First, pick which blog platform you would like to use. The top two contenders are blogger.com and wordpress.org. Here's some simple blogging advice if you're having trouble deciding. If you're entirely new to blogging, blogger.com is the way to go. If you're familiar with the basics of blogging or would just like to have more ''control'' over your blog, wordpress might be a better choice. No matter which option you choose, the process is simple. All it takes is filling out your name, email address and naming your blog.

Although each platform comes with its own web hosting, here’s some blogging advice every blogger should take. Purchase your own domain name. Not only will having your own domain be easier for your visitors to remember, it will add another level of professionalism to your blog.

After you've picked out which blogger platform to use and have started to set up your blog, the next step is choosing your template. Templates are pre-made designs for your blog. The best blogging advice when it comes to templates is to make sure that your template reflects the topic of your blog. It's more sensible to use a car template if your blog is about exotic cars, than it is to use a template about food.

You may not realize it, but you're halfway done. You've picked a blog platform, registered your blog name, and picked out your very own template. You may have also decided to register your own domain name. Now its time for some blogging advice that everyone wants to know - how to make money from your blog.

There are 3 main ways to monetize your blog - through traffic, content and ads.

Traffic for your blog can be obtained in many ways. While most people think you have to pay a huge amount of money to achieve traffic results, the following tips are not only free, but also simple.

The easiest way to earn money from your blog is by simply filling it with content. If you can remember this, it will become one of the best blogging advice you've ever received. The more relevant content that you add to your blog, the easier it will be for search engines to find it. This means more traffic, which equals more money. When you first begin to blog, try to post several times a week and eventually work up to blogging on a daily basis. Readers like to know that every time they visit your blog, they will read something new.

Don't worry if you don't like to write; content comes in different forms. No longer is writing the only way to fill up a blog. Videos, podcasts and even games are now considered content.

Once you've filled your blog with content, the next step is to add your blog to social bookmarking sites. Social bookmarking sites are websites that cater to sending readers to blogs based on their personal interests. The top social bookmarking sites include StumbleUpon, Digg, Technorati, Reddit, Propeller, Fark, and Del.icio.us. However, many bookmarking sites prohibit any marketing ploys; so to minimize risk, bookmark 4 to 5 non-self-serving links for every self-serving link you bookmark. Post comments on other people’s bookmarks and be an active participant in the discussions. Bookmark sites that other people have bookmarked so you’ll be seen as part of the community.

Another effective way to create income is by signing up for affiliate programs and promoting them on your blog. This is not only great blogging advice, but can be used for other ventures as well such as websites. Every time a visitor purchases an affiliate product from your blog, you get paid a commission for it. The commissions can range any where from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars. The tip to remember when it comes to affiliate marketing is to pick programs and products that are related to your blog. It’s much easier to get your visitors to sign up for a recipe subscription if your blog is about cooking, than it is to get them to sign up for a stock market subscription.

One last tip for creating money for your blog is to place ads. This can be done in various ways. One of the most popular ways is through Google adsense. Each time a visitor clicks on one of the adsense ads, you get paid. It's also free to sign up for an account. As a bonus, if you signed up under the blogger.com platform, all it takes are a few clicks to get adsense onto your blog. If you chose wordpress, the setup is still easy. You just simply install a plug-in to add Google adsense to your blog.

A lot of people will tell you that this is the blogging advice they wished they would've received when they first started to blog. Not only do you now know how to setup a blog, you also learned how to profit from it. Now the only thing you have to do is go create your blog and start earning!

Harnessing the marketing power of your blog is an excellent strategy for growing your business. With the many benefits of blogs, including SEO and developing customer loyalty, even Fortune 500 companies are jumping on the bandwagon. However, utilizing blogs is not as simple as writing articles that optimize your company’s keywords.

Seeing your blog as an extension of your marketing and branding efforts is the key to maximizing the benefits of blogging. Remember, the purpose of your blog is to attract your target customer base – and keep them coming back for more. With that said, there are several strategies you can utilize to maximize the marketing power of your blog.

What does your blog say about your company?

A major element of your marketing efforts is brand congruency. McDonald’s, Apple, Nike, and the other highly successful global organizations have achieved their status through intelligent, congruent branding. Keeping this in mind, it is critical that your blog stays in line with your branding efforts. Readers see the blog as a personal extension of the company, and thus, it is important that it reflects the same character of your branding strategy.

For example, if you run an online party supplies store that is known for creativity, then make sure your blog reflects that branding. Include innovative party ideas, such as themes, unique DIY decorating tips, and recipes. This creates significant value with your target customer base, while keeping in line with the creative branding your company employs.

How is your blog valuable to your target customer?

Although blogs are indeed beneficial for SEO purposes, the most power you can generate from your blog stems from attracting your target customer. With this in mind, carefully evaluate how valuable your blog postings are to your client base. Put yourself in their shoes; would you bookmark your blog and come back regularly?

One strategic – and easy – way to increase the value of your blog is to create specialized content. Positioning yourself as a specialist and expert in the field not only provides value to the customer, but inherently reinforces the legitimacy of your company.

For example, if you are a recruiting firm, then your blog should discuss pressing HR issues that your clients would find valuable. You could expound upon changing laws, new legal rulings, powerful interview questions, and background check tools. Not only do you reaffirm your expertise in recruiting employees, but you present very valuable information that would prompt your client base to become regular readers.

How does your blog stand out from the crowd?

With many of your competitors utilizing blogs, how can you compel your target audience to visit your blog? The key is to create innovative content that stands far above mediocre articles. While many blogs simply write average, keyword-rich articles for SEO purposes, make sure your blog shines with innovative content. Whether you infuse humor, compelling research, breaking news, or expert knowledge, writing interesting blog articles is the most powerful way to generate attention. Keep in mind that your goal is to create articles worthy of links – ones that other blogs and social networks will want to re-publish – and your content will easily stand out from the blogging crowd.

When you create innovative, valuable content that is in line with your branding strategy, your business can fully reap the benefits of blogging. Leave your competition in the dust as you jumpstart your marketing campaign with the power of today’s blog!
